Celebrity Apprentice Electricians!

MSE have recently been featured in The Birmingham Mail and The Redditch Advertiser.

With the help of Birmingham Electrical Training (BET) and the Government Employer Grant Scheme, we have appointed two new apprentices to our growing workforce. The National Apprenticeship Service(NAS) announced the new grant scheme in Janaury offering an Employer Grant in a bid to make it easier for employers to take on young apprentcies.  BET immediately contacted MSE and Mick Shipway(Director) was happy to take on Dominic Kitchen & Lewis White. He was quoted in the Redditch Advertiser saying " It is very important we lead the way in providing such opportunities for young people in Redditch and the West Midlands, as they are the future of our sector and without our leadership there would be a skills shortage in the Electrical industry."  We wish Lewis and Dominic well with their careers at MSE.

New Energy Bill & proposed Green Deal for homes

With the new Government now in place a number of changes will be happening over the coming months.

Plans for a new Energy Bill were announced in the Queen's Speech on the 25th May. This announcement shows an important commitment to energy efficiency and to supporting investment in low carbon products.  In particualr, the Governent has announced that it will create a green investment bank, that will loan households money to make their homes greener. This "Green Deal" would obviously be a huge boost to householders by absorbing the upfront costs of switching to a renewable energy heating system.

Heat Source Air Pumps are without doubt the way forward for UK business and homeowners. Please contact us on 0800 197 3613 to arrange your free site survey and quote.

Accreditation awarded to MSE

QMS were with us last week to carry out their annual inspection and accreditation for our ISO9001 .  This is an internationally recognised standard for management , ensuring that MSE have proven processes in place to meet customer requirements.  I am pleased to report that we passed with flying colours! We are now working towards the ISO18001 and ISO14001.
